As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you won't just be filling seats; you’ll be a strategic partner helping us build a culture of excellence. The challenge lies in balancing high-volume recruitment with a focus on quality and diversity. You’ll have the autonomy to lead the full lifecycle of your roles and the opportunity to act as a consultant for hiring managers.

 

What You Will Do 👇

  • Take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process for a variety of business-critical roles.

  • Proactively source and engage with passive talent through creative channels and market research.

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to define profiles, set up scorecards, and guide them through the decision-making process.

  • Champion a world-class candidate experience, ensuring every applicant—hired or not—walks away with a positive view of Wallapop.

  • Use data and hiring metrics to track your progress, identify bottlenecks, and continuously improve our recruitment strategy.

 

What We’re Looking For 🔎

  • Experience leading recruitment cycles in dynamic or rapidly evolving environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and engage talent through strategic sourcing and networking.

  • A data-informed mindset, comfortable using recruitment metrics to guide decisions and report on progress.

  • Experience building strong, trust-based relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders at all levels.

  • A commitment to diversity and inclusion, with the ability to implement fair assessment practices throughout the funnel.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and the adaptability to thrive when priorities change.

 

What Would Be A Plus 🚀

  • Experience hiring across Product and Engineering roles.

 

Do note that all our jobs are 📍 Barcelona based. We follow a hybrid model where flexibility rules. We commit to a minimum of 6 days per month in the office. Each team self-organizes to decide on cadence and in-person/remote rituals.

What does the hiring process for this position look like? đź‘€**Please, note that all interviews take place remotely over hangouts.**

Intro Call - run by talent acquisition, focus on providing more information about the role and the company as well as going over your experience, motivation, and expectations. This usually takes 45-60 minutes.

Expertise Interview - run by the hiring team, focus on the required core skills and the ability to deliver in a given context. This usually takes 60-90 minutes.

Stakeholder Interview - run by relevant stakeholders reflecting the reality of the context of the role, focus on the ability to collaborate & deliver in a cross-functional set-up. This usually takes 60 minutes.

Culture Interview - run by culture interviewers, focus on adherence to Wallapop's purpose and business proposition. This usually takes 60 minutes. 

Offer - should you be the right candidate, your offer will be discussed over a call with talent acquisition and will then be confirmed in writing.
