About the role
Are you passionate about medical technology and eager to make an impact in healthcare? Join our R&D team in Barcelona and help develop next-generation In Vitro Diagnostic instruments. You will integrate complex hardware, software, and assay components into robust diagnostic platforms that improve lives worldwide. This is an onsite based role in Barcelona, Spain.
Your Tasks
Lead integration of mechanical, electronic, and software subsystems in IVD instrumentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system performance.
Design and execute system-level verification and validation protocols.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across disciplines.
Create documentation and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Support design transfer to manufacturing and post-market improvements.
Your Profile
Degree in Engineering, Physics, Biotechnology, or related field.
3+ years of experience in system integration, preferably in medical devices or diagnostics.
Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and V-model development.
Hands-on experience with lab instrumentation, sensors, and automation.
Familiarity with regulatory standards (IVDR, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304).
Excellent problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset.
Advance level of English, both written and spoken (required).
