Senior Product Designer - Connectivity
Our Connectivity tribe owns the public API used by 1,000+ partners to extend and enhance Mews’ functionality. This is one of the most critical surfaces of our product, powering integrations across the global hospitality ecosystem. We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our R&D team and lead end‑to‑end design for high‑impact product areas, from discovery through to delivery.
About the role
As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll tackle complex problems and shape the user experience across significant areas of our product. You’ll move seamlessly between problem framing, research, and crafting delightful, production‑ready interfaces, always balancing user needs, business outcomes, and technical realities.
You’ll operate as a key member of a product trio (PM, EM, Designer), helping set strategy and vision for your area while elevating the overall quality of the product and our design practice.
What you’ll do
Lead end‑to‑end product design: from discovery and problem definition through to high‑fidelity UI, prototypes, and developer‑ready specs
Plan and run mixed‑methods UX research to deeply understand our users and inform decisions
Frame and solve complex user and business problems, turning ambiguous opportunities into clear, testable solutions
Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to define strategy, scope, and trade‑offs, and to ship work that actually moves the needle
Contribute to and consume our design system, ensuring scalable, consistent experiences across products
Lead design critiques, mentor other designers, and help raise the bar on craft, storytelling, and decision‑making across the team
Partner with data and product to define success metrics and run experiments that validate and refine your solutions
About you
You’re an experienced product designer who is comfortable owning big pieces of product and collaborating across teams. Ideally, you have:
5+ years of product design experience in SaaS or digital products, ideally B2B or platforms
A strong portfolio showing end‑to‑end case studies for complex problems, not just final screens
Proven experience planning and running user research, and turning insights into clear design decisions
Excellent interaction and visual design skills, with a sharp eye for detail and usability
Strong storytelling and communication: you can explain the "why", not just the "what", to designers, PMs, engineers, and stakeholders
Comfort working in modern design tooling (e.g. Figma) and openness to using AI‑powered tools to accelerate your work
