Senior Compute Emulation Engineer

Job Description

Our partner is looking for a Senior Compute Emulation Engineer to develop and manage emulation environments for complex multicore processor systems.

The role focuses on emulation infrastructure, functional verification and cache coherency validation. You will work with hardware verification teams to identify design issues and achieve verification coverage before silicon production.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain emulation environments for multicore systems

• Configure emulation builds and testbenches

• Develop protocol transactors

• Create and automate regression tests

• Execute coherency and functional verification

• Debug multicore software and assembly tests

• Achieve functional and code coverage targets

• Investigate and resolve verification failures

• Collaborate with RTL and verification teams

Requirements

• 10+ years of design verification experience

• 4+ years of SoC or subsystem emulation experience

• Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering

• Practical emulation setup and debugging

• Multicore system verification

• Strong cache coherency knowledge

• C and assembly test debugging

• Testbench development and regression management

• Functional and code coverage closure

• Strong analytical and debugging skills

Optional / Desired

• CPU or GPU verification

• NoC verification

• Processor subsystem emulation

• Coherency test suites

• Custom protocol transactors

• Experience with large SoC designs
