Product Lifecycle Manager

Description -

Job Summary

The Product Lifecycle Manager acts as the regional hub for product and portfolio management across all EMEA countries for Commercial Notebooks. The role bridges market needs with the Global Business/Brand Organization (GBO/GBU), providing clear market inputs to shape a customer‑focused future portfolio, guiding in-region sales and category teams, and enabling successful launches and life‑cycle management. No travel required.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio & Lifecycle (EMEA)

  • Own the central commercial notebook portfolio view for EMEA; ensure coverage and coherence across all regions/countries.
  • Support PLM long term activities: market/segment insights, roadmap inputs (12–18 months), AV guidance for A/I levels, and business case support for new product requests.
  • Lead PLM short term enablement: NPI volume definition, guidance on SKUs to focus at launch, AV action rate alignment, and OCC/COE readiness.
  • Manage product life cycle tasks: PV unit control, EOL/ECO coordination, SKU creation and localization updates, and data analysis for extensions and ROI.

Market Input & Stakeholder Alignment

  • Provide the Commercial GBU with structured market inputs (customer needs, competitive landscape T1/T2, pricing/positioning, and feature priorities) to influence future platforms and products.
  • Partner with the GBO (product development) to ensure EMEA requirements are captured and prioritized; validate that regional needs map to global roadmaps.

Country Enablement & Sales Support

  • Guide country category and sales teams on portfolio strategy, configuration guidance, and attach/pricing recommendations.
  • Create and deliver internal enablement (trainings, GTM assets, portal updates) and customer-facing materials (presentations, value narratives, competitive differentiators).

NPI / Program Execution

  • Drive NPI readiness across EMEA: execute dashboard actions, validate configurations, align on AV and sell-in focus, and coordinate with OCC/COE for setup based on AV forecasts.

Education & Experience (Recommended)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 5–8 years experience in product marketing, category management, or portfolio/PLM roles—ideally in PC/Commercial hardware or adjacent tech.
  • Proven experience working with regional markets and global product organizations; demonstrated impact on roadmap or portfolio outcomes.
  • Experience delivering sales enablement and customer presentations for B2B solutions.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong product marketing fundamentals: positioning, segmentation, value proposition, launch planning, and lifecycle management.
  • Solid understanding of commercial notebook categories (e.g., EliteBook) and enterprise buyer needs (security, manageability, TCO, durability, remote work).
  • Excellent communication skills—able to translate technical features into customer outcomes and persuasive sales stories.
  • Confident presenter for internal trainings and customer briefings; skilled in simplifying complexity.
  • Comfort with portfolio analytics, dashboards, and business case modeling (e.g., AV guidance, consumption/aging analysis, SKU performance).
