We are seeking a driven and ambitious Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in Barcelona. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing existing partners, securing and finding growth opportunities, and communicating with partners to develop mutually beneficial relationships.

This role is based in Barcelona and we are looking for someone who is motivated to work closely with our local team. We expect the ideal candidate to have fluent proficiency in both Spanish and English.

Business Development Manager role is critical in driving our business forward in Spain and offers opportunities to work closely with:

  • Key players in the financial services industry (including consumer finance, banking, and insurance companies), helping them maximize their customer acquisition strategies through our lead generation platforms.

  • An international team of professionals, giving you exposure to diverse markets and best practices across Europe, as well as a place for professional growth in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and develop new partnerships.

  • Deliver commercial presentations.

  • Negotiate agreements, commercial terms, and volume commitments.

  • Manage existing partners, including publishers, lenders, banks, and brokers.

  • Conduct performance reviews and define account growth plans.

  • Build, maintain, and strengthen partner relationships.

  • Identify opportunities to optimize partner revenue.

  • Monitor KPIs and overall account health.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, including performance marketing, IT, and finance.

  • Support contract management, invoicing, and basic reconciliations.

  • Gather market intelligence and contribute to strategic planning.

  • Present findings, ideas, and new partnership opportunities to the Country Manager and the team in Spain.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B digital sales

  • Strategic partnership development

  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills

  • Analytical & Revenue optimization skills

  • Financial Services / Lending Ecosystem Knowledge

  • Relationship management with partners

  • Strong knowledge of terminology in digital marketing

  • Experience in affiliate marketing

  • Ability to perform market research

  • Good English and Spanish skills (written and oral)
