We are seeking a Business Development Manager – Out Licensing to strengthen our Corporate Business Development & Innovation Area. Given the highly specialized nature of the role, based in Spain

Your mission:

Reporting to the Chief Business Development & Innovation Officer, you will lead Neuraxpharm’s global out‑licensing strategy, identifying, structuring, and executing licensing opportunities across our product portfolio and pipeline.
Your work will be instrumental in expanding our international commercial footprint through strategic partnerships, licensing agreements, and long‑term collaboration models.

In addition to driving new global out‑licensing opportunities, this role will have full responsibility for managing and maximizing the value of Neuraxpharm’s existing out‑licensing portfolio, ensuring contractual commitments are met and budgeted net sales and EBITDA targets are achieved.

  • Assess opportunities using competitive intelligence, pricing & reimbursement insights, regulatory factors and supply capabilities.

2. Partner Engagement & Deal Closing

  • Drive the full BD cycle: prospecting → pitching → negotiation → contracting → onboarding.
  • Prepare compelling value propositions and partnering materials.
  • Lead term sheet negotiations and align all legal, financial, supply-chain and performance conditions.
  • Coordinate internal and external due diligence processes.
  • Build strong, trust‑based relationships with current and potential partners.

3. Cross‑Functional Coordination

  • Work with Finance on financial modelling, profitability analysis and scenario planning.
  • Validate production capacity and supply continuity with Supply Chain.
  • Ensure scientific and brand alignment with Medical and Marketing functions.

4. Portfolio Performance, Governance & Market Intelligence

  • Own and manage Neuraxpharm’s global out‑licensing portfolio, ensuring partners meet contractual, commercial and performance obligations.
  • Be accountable for portfolio performance against budgeted net sales, gross margin and EBITDA targets.
  • Monitor actuals vs budget and forecasts in close collaboration with Finance; identify performance gaps, risks and mitigation actions.
  • Lead corrective action plans for underperforming partners, acting as the primary internal escalation point and coordinating with Legal, Finance, Supply Chain and Commercial teams.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to optimize and grow existing agreements, including:
    • Territory expansions
    • Lifecycle management initiatives
    • Contract amendments, extensions or restructuring
  • Ensure effective governance of licensing agreements, including performance tracking, reporting and compliance.

  • Demonstrated experience managing existing licensing portfolios with responsibility for commercial performance.
  • Strong financial acumen, with hands‑on experience tracking net sales, profitability and EBITDA impact of licensing agreements.
