Business Controller – Keonn (Novanta Group)

📍 Barcelona, Spain | Hybrid

Keonn, part of Novanta, is a fast‑growing RFID hardware and software business serving retail, healthcare, logistics, and industrial markets. As Keonn scales within a publicly traded global group, we are looking for a Business Controller to act as the key finance partner to the local leadership team.

This role is ideal for a hands‑on finance professional who enjoys working close to the business, translating commercial activity into financial insight, and helping build robust financial processes in a growing, technology‑driven environment.

What you’ll do

• Act as the embedded finance business partner for Keonn leadership.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting for the business unit.
• Partner closely with Sales to translate pipeline and bookings into forward‑looking revenue forecasts.
• Lead reporting on bookings, backlog, shipments, and performance vs. targets.
• Support monthly accounting close in coordination with local and corporate finance teams.
• Build integrated P&L and balance sheet forecasts and support AOP and quarterly reviews.
• Deliver clear financial insights to support decision‑making and growth.

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, controlling, or finance business partnering.
• Strong commercial and analytical mindset, with experience supporting Sales or revenue forecasting.
• Solid understanding of accounting close processes.
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience is a plus.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in an evolving, growth‑stage environment.
• Background in technology, hardware, or manufacturing is preferred.
• Fluent English required; Spanish and/or Catalan are a strong plus.
